About Fitness Reviews.org
One place to research fitness products, with real video reviews, honest scores and no paid placements.
Buying a protein powder, a pair of adjustable dumbbells or a recovery tracker shouldn't require a research project. FitnessReviews.org exists to put everything you need for a confident decision in one place: the product details, the most useful independent video reviews, and an honest score that sums them up.
The problem with researching fitness gear
If you've shopped for fitness products lately, you know the routine. You open a product listing, then a Reddit thread, then three YouTube reviews, a handful of TikToks and a "best of" list that seems to recommend everything. Fifty tabs later, you still don't know whether the supplement is properly dosed, whether the treadmill is loud, or whether the viral gadget holds up once the hype fades.
Social shopping has made this harder. TikTok Shop and short-form video are great at making a product look exciting and not always great at telling you how it performs three months later. Meanwhile, spec sheets and supplement labels are full of details that matter but are easy to misread.
What we do
We built FitnessReviews.org to do that legwork for you:
- A product directory. Every product gets a profile with key specs or label facts, pros and cons, pricing context, and links to buy on Amazon, TikTok Shop and, where available, the brand's own store.
- A video review catalog. We collect real reviews from independent YouTube and TikTok creators, including first impressions, comparisons and long-term updates, and organize them by product so you can watch the most useful ones without hunting. Browse them all in our video library.
- The FR Score. Each product earns a score from 0 to 10 that blends the consensus of independent video reviewers, our analysis of the formula or specs (including third-party testing and build quality), and value for money. The full methodology lives on our How We Review page.
We cover supplements, home gym equipment, recovery tools, fitness trackers and training shoes, and we add categories as the site grows.
What we don't do
We want to be upfront about our limits. We don't run a laboratory, and we don't claim to have personally tested the products we score. Our job is to synthesize the best available evidence (what many independent reviewers have experienced, what the label or spec sheet actually says, and what third-party testing programs have verified) and present it honestly.
We don't publish fake reviews, and we don't invent quotes, statistics or studies. When the evidence on a product is thin or mixed, we say so. And because nothing here is medical advice, we encourage you to talk with a qualified professional before starting a new supplement or training program.
Editorial independence
No brand can pay for a score, a ranking or a place in one of our best-of lists. Brands are welcome to tell us about new products or point out factual errors, but they never get to preview or negotiate scores. Scores change when the evidence changes, such as a reformulation, a new model, a meaningful shift in reviewer consensus or a big price move, and never because someone asked nicely. Our Editorial Standards set out the rules in full, including how we handle conflicts of interest and corrections.
How we're funded
FitnessReviews.org is reader-supported. When you buy through some of our links, including Amazon and TikTok Shop, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those commissions keep the site running, and they never influence our scores or rankings; a product without an affiliate link can outrank one that has it. You'll find the details in our affiliate disclosure.
What makes us different
- Every channel in one place. Many of today's most talked-about fitness products sell on TikTok Shop as well as Amazon and the brand's own store. We cover all of them side by side.
- Real voices, clearly labeled. We feature independent creators' video reviews, critical ones included, label each one's verdict and mark sponsored videos when we know about them. Nobody can pay to have a video featured.
- A score you can check. The FR Score's criteria and tiers are published in full on our How We Review page, so you can judge our reasoning for yourself.
- Evidence over hype. We compare supplement doses with those used in research, check third-party certifications and say plainly when the evidence is thin. For equipment, we look past the spec sheet to what owners report months later.
- Respect for your privacy. We don't run ads or ad trackers, our analytics don't use cookies, and embedded videos load nothing from YouTube, TikTok or Instagram until you press play. See our Privacy Policy.
Our promise to readers
- We'll tell you what the evidence shows, even when the honest answer is "not much."
- We'll never sell a score, a ranking or a review.
- We'll show our work, so you can check our reasoning.
- We'll correct mistakes quickly and openly.
- We'll keep product information as current as we can and flag important changes, such as a reformulation, a new model or a recall.
- We'll remind you that no product replaces consistent training, good food and sleep, or advice from a qualified professional. Our Health & Safety Disclaimer explains why.
