Affiliate Disclosure

How FitnessReviews.org earns money, and why it never affects our scores or rankings.

Last updated October 7, 2026

FitnessReviews.org is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click one and then make a purchase. In keeping with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, this page explains in plain language how that works.

Amazon Associates

FitnessReviews.org participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets websites earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, FitnessReviews.org earns from qualifying purchases.

TikTok Shop

We also participate in the TikTok Shop affiliate program. If you buy a product through one of our TikTok Shop links, we may earn a commission on that sale.

Other retailers

Some products link to a brand's own store or to other online retailers. Some of those links are affiliate links and some are not. To be safe, assume that any "Buy," "Check price" or retailer link on our site may earn us a commission.

The simple rule: assume that any link from our site to a retailer or a brand's store may be an affiliate link. That includes the buy buttons on product pages and in our guides and comparisons, retailer links in our articles and product links in our newsletter.

We also:

  • put a short disclosure next to every set of buy buttons, so you don't need to visit this page to find out; and
  • mark links to retailers in our site's code with rel="sponsored", the attribute search engines such as Google recommend for paid links.

What this means for you

  • You pay the same price. Affiliate commissions come out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket. Using our links never costs you extra.
  • Commissions never affect scores or rankings. Our FR Scores and best-of rankings are set by our editorial process, described on our How We Review page. Whether a product has an affiliate link plays no part in where it ranks, and a product with no affiliate link can outrank one that has it.
  • Brands can't buy coverage. We don't accept payment for scores, rankings, reviews or placement in our guides.
  • Your purchase is with the retailer. Orders, shipping, returns and warranties are handled by the store you buy from, under its own terms.

Other relationships

We don't accept payment for reviews, and we don't publish sponsored content. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as sponsored. If a brand sends us a free product, we'll say so on that product's page. Our Editorial Standards explain how we protect our independence.

Creators' own relationships

The video reviews we feature are made by independent creators on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Some creators have their own sponsorships or earn their own commissions, for example through TikTok Shop's affiliate program. We don't earn money from their videos or from creators' links. When we know a video was sponsored or the product was gifted by the brand, we label it Sponsored.

Researching products, maintaining a catalog of video reviews and keeping scores current takes real time. Affiliate commissions let us keep FitnessReviews.org free to read, without paywalls or sponsored rankings. If you find the site useful, buying through our links is a simple way to support it.
