CELSIUS is the flagship energy drink of Celsius Holdings, a Nasdaq-listed company (ticker CELH) headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. The company says it was founded in 2004, and it introduced its first CELSIUS drink in 2005. PepsiCo has distributed CELSIUS in certain U.S. territories since 2022, later adding parts of Canada, and in 2025 Celsius became a multi-brand company by acquiring Alani Nu and the Rockstar Energy business in the U.S. and Canada.
CELSIUS positions its drinks around fitness and active lifestyles. They contain no sugar, aspartame or high-fructose corn syrup and are made with green tea, guarana, ginger and added vitamins. The range includes the original sparkling cans and Vibe flavors, non-carbonated Fizz-Free versions, ESSENTIALS made with added amino acids, caffeine-free CELSIUS HYDRATION electrolyte sticks and On-the-Go powder packets. Celsius states that select CELSIUS energy drinks are NSF Certified for Sport and are produced in audited GMP facilities, and NSF's public database lists the 12-ounce sparkling, Vibe and Fizz-Free flavors.
