Reebok was founded in Bolton, England, in 1958 by brothers Joe and Jeff Foster, continuing a shoemaking business their grandfather, Joseph William Foster, had started in 1895. The brand later moved to Massachusetts and has its global headquarters in Boston. adidas owned Reebok from 2006 until 2022, when it was sold to Authentic Brands Group, which now owns the brand. Since 2025, Galaxy Universal has run Reebok's US footwear wholesale, retail and e-commerce business and its global product creation under a license.

Reebok's main training shoe is the Nano, introduced in 2011 as a shoe designed for CrossFit and updated many times since; the line now also includes Nano golf shoes. In 2010 Reebok signed a 10-year deal to become the official footwear and apparel provider of the CrossFit Games. It also sells classic lifestyle sneakers and apparel through its website and retail partners.

Testing & quality

Unworn items bought on Reebok.com can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery; the brand's returns page does not describe a footwear warranty (it lists a one-year warranty only for Reebok eyewear).
