Transparent Labs

Transparent Labs is a sports nutrition brand that sells mainly direct to consumers through its own website. In 2020 it was acquired by entrepreneur John Williams, and the deal formed the foundation of Nutra Holdings, a sports nutrition group that now operates several brands.

The brand's range covers grass-fed whey protein isolate, creatine products including Creatine HMB, stimulant and stimulant-free pre-workouts, amino acid and hydration formulas, and general wellness supplements. Transparent Labs markets its products on full label transparency and publishes third-party certificates of analysis, ingredient-identity tests and gluten tests that shoppers can look up on its website. Many of its products, including whey protein isolate and Creatine HMB flavors, are listed in the NSF Certified for Sport database, and the company says it is certified by Informed Choice and Informed Protein; Transparent Labs also appears on Informed Choice's certified-brand list.
