The verdict
The FEIERDUN DS2 is a budget spin-lock set that converts into dumbbells, a short barbell, kettlebells and push-up stands, and it's widely sold on Amazon and TikTok Shop. Reviewers like the versatility and comfortable grips, but weight changes are slow and the sand-filled plates can't match cast iron for density or durability.

Overview
The DS2 is FEIERDUN's take on the multi-function set that dominates budget listings; the brand is part of FED Fitness, which also makes FLYBIRD. You get plastic-shell plates molded around high-density iron sand, threaded twist-lock collars, two short handles, a connector that joins them into a barbell with a foam pad, and kettlebell handles. Sets come in 20, 30, 45, 70 and 90 lb totals; in the popular 45-lb version, each dumbbell adjusts from 6 to 22.5 lb. FEIERDUN backs it with three years of coverage.
What reviewers say
Reviewers are broadly positive for the price. Pruitt Reviews says he absolutely loved the set for filling the gaps between his fixed dumbbells, and Kalle Beck found the loaded dumbbells nicely balanced with a comfortable handle, while advising you retighten the twist collars between sets. Aviator's Garage was more measured: the kettlebell mode impressed him, but he saw drawbacks in the dumbbells and says the barbell mode is no substitute for an Olympic bar.
The consistent limits: changing weight means unscrewing collars, so it's slow for supersets, and the sand-filled plates are bulky, so loaded dumbbells look and feel big for their weight.
Who it's for
Beginners, renters and anyone testing whether home workouts will stick, especially for light-to-moderate circuits, curls, presses and goblet squats. It's also a practical pick for households sharing one set.
Bottom line
It's the most versatile way to spend under $100 on free weights. Treat it as a starter set rather than a lifetime purchase, and plan to upgrade if you get serious about heavier lifting.
